Elaine Swinney Brunelle

Elaine is an experienced professional violinist and private instructor. She has been performing since 1983, possessing a wealth of experience in orchestral, recording, and chamber music. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Music (Violin) from Baldwin-Wallace University/Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio, and has also pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Akron in Ohio. In addition to her expertise in violin, Elaine is also adept at teaching introductory piano lessons.

Lessons are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Guitar

Norm Brunelle

Norm Brunelle has been involved with music for nearly 50 years with extensive teaching experience encompassing both private and classroom instruction. Having taught in elementary through graduate settings, is equally versed in instrumental and vocal music. His experience with guitar is largely in the area of folk music. His goal as a guitar teacher is to help students build a foundation of solid, basic skills upon which years of personal enjoyment can be accomplished. Students will learn basic music theory, note reading and scales, common chord patterns, along with basic strumming and fingerpicking patterns. In addition, basic tablature reading will be explored.

Lessons are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.
